A large property that feels intimate and cozy because it's split into several different buildings. We stayed in the lodge which was comfortable and had a great lounge downstairs with a full kitchen, TVs, pool table. It's a boutique hotel with the extra amenities of a ski lodge or hostel. The decor has a really cool vibe, it's kind of quirky steampunk Victorian lounge but really comfortable. Everywhere you look there's something interesting and witty to catch your eye. The rooms are spacious so we were able to spread out all our snow gear, and the bathroom was very attractive - lovely tiles (weirdly yes, this made a difference to me!), good shower with plenty of hot water, quality shampoo and conditioner etc... The owner Frank is really nice and welcoming, and he's thought about how people want to relax and hang out so there are fire pits and tables outside. We were there in Winter but it looks like there's a nice pool there for the Summer months. I'd feel comfortable staying here on my own and chatting with the other guests, but I also think it would be perfect to go with a large group and hang out for a few days. The location is great, walking distance to a lot of restaurants, not that far from the village, and very close to Snow Summit. Compared to other hotels in Big Bear I thought the price was really good. I also really appreciated the extra quilt on the beds.

This is the hiiden gem in Big Bear!! I was pleasantly surprised ..so much for a great price! The location is perfect.I was greeted with kindness and smiles when checking in..the resort has a perfect rustic mountain look with a very luxurious matress and pillows..a full bathroom with shower..fluffy towels as well.a vanity mirror above the sink and to the right of that a mini fridge with freezer, microwave and coffee maker( soap, shampoo, conditioner and coffee included!) There are oscillating fans for your use and a beautiful fireplace for those cold nights!A lovely flatscreen with many entertainment options.Outside your door you will find a beautiful wooden bench with table for watching sunsets or just relaxing looking at the beautiful view. There are picnic tables outside as well. They even had a beautiful antique desk and chair in the room if you need to get some work done.It was very quiet..family friendly!!I will always come back and tell friends and family about Wolf Creek Resort!!

Wolf Creek is perfectly located on the main street and near everything of interest. As we stayed in winter and it was snowing, we enjoyed the sledding in the back yard of premises. The area is so big we had "slopes" to choose from to sled with the kids. And the sleds free. The staf is wonderful and super eager to help you out with anything. Really great people. The rooms we stayed in we just painted and the whole place is getting a touch up. So the hotel is in super great condition. The beds are comfortable too. Depending on your room option, you can stay in one of the big multi-room buildings with a full kitchen setup. This is great cause you can save some money by preparing some food at home. Overall a very great place to stay!! Wonderfull staff.

The location is perfect! The place is getting a lot of renovations so I’m sure once it’s all done it’ll be even better. The resort provides info on how to do the online registration prior to your arrival which is very convenient. We stayed at the den which shares a common area downstairs but it was very cozy. We were able to use the kitchen Ann the appliances and kitchenware were clean and very organized. There is a pool table and the kids loved playing pool. The room we stayed in was warm and very clean, the beds were super comfortable. What we loved the most was the huge space this property has. The back yard was awesome the kids had a blast we spent a good amount of time playing in the slow and sledding. will definitely come back again!

LITERALLY EVERYTHING. This entire property is eye candy. Every single detail has been painstakingly crafted and sourced and truly executed to absolute perfection. I will only stay here when I come to Big Bear so I can get lost in the magic of this place over and over again. We had the opportunity to have Frank (one of the owners) show us around the entire property and tell us about how he and his co-owners/creators brought this dream to life. Amazing. Thank you Frank and Snoisses team/fam, you guys are absolutely KILLING IT, and we wish you nothing but great success!
